We began this series with the word of God and the role it plays in our sanctification process. Thus we shall close it through the commissioning of His Word.
Father God, may we always thank You for our fellow brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because from the beginning You have chosen us for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth. God You have called us to this through the gospel, so that we might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So Father God, help us to stand firm and hold to the traditions we have been taught through Your Word. May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace, encourage our hearts and strengthen us in every good work and word (2 Thessalonians 2:13-17).
God of peace, sanctify us completely. May our spirits, souls, and bodies be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. For He who calls us is faithful and you will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:23-28)!!
And now we commit ourselves to You God and to the message of Your grace, which is able to build us up and give to us an inheritance among all who are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Lord, help us to continue to pursue and embrace the Joy of Sanctification You have designed for us.
For Your Name’s Sake and Your glory, Jesus, have Your way with us!! Amen.
